http://ezinearticles.com/?Steve-Jobs-Resignation-Should-Prompt-an-Early-Official-Announcement-of-the-Apple-iPhone-5&id=6521305

Apple's Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs has just resigned from his post, due to an undisclosed health issue. Although this may be bad news for some, this might prompt an early official announcement of the Apple iPhone 5. We may see the mooted smartphone earlier than expected.

The former CEO stepped down on August 24, a Wednesday. This is an indication that the former house of Jobs will be holding an even in the coming week to possibly officially announce their new handset. This may not affect the company's strategy. However, it may affect the consumer's perception of Apple's products.

To remedy the bad news of Jobs' resignation, the now house of Cook may announce good news as soon as possible. Diverting the attention to bad news by releasing something people are looking forward to is typical PR strategy. They are most likely to make the bad news dissipate during the weekend. Early next week, expect breaking news to roll out from the press. When good news comes to mind, we can't think of anything else but an announcement of the 5th generation iOS-powered handset.

The former Chief Executive Officer has been on sick leave since the start of the year. It is highly possible that Jobs wanted to release news of his resignation earlier. However, Job's PR team may have advised him to hold off until the imminent launch of the Apple iPhone 5. It could be part of the strategy to make the mooted phone the CEO's last hurrah.

If we go back to past products, Steve Jobs has always taken center stage. Despite pancreatic cancer and a liver transplant, he has always been hands-on in product presentations such as the iPad 2. It wouldn't be surprising if we see the now chairman of the Cupertino firm take center stage again to introduce the new Apple iPhone 5.

Looking at another angle, we might see Tim Cook taking center stage to introduce the new smartphone. This may also be part of the strategy to debut the company's new Chief Executive Officer. This may be an attempt to show that Cook is more than capable of his new responsibilities.

Regardless of the theories and strategies involved, the bottom line is we may finally see the most highly anticipated handset the world has ever seen. Whether Chairman Steve Jobs or CEO Tim Cook takes the spotlight, we will finally get our hands on the Apple iPhone 5 soon.

The iPhone 5 Won't Be Available Until 2012!

That's right, you read the headline correctly. It would seem as if Apple will not be releasing the iPhone 5 until 2012!

The reason, you ask? The reason is that Apple will be releasing the iPhone 4G in 2011. Everybody who is calling Apple's next iPhone the iPhone 5 is surely incorrect. Apple takes great pride in coming up with names for its products, and they will not make the mistake of releasing the iPhone 5 in June 2012.

My proof of this is in the names of Apple's last four smartphones. The iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4. Diving in a bit deeper, we'll be able to see why apple's next phone will be the iPhone 4G.

The Original iPhone, launched on June 28, 2007, was a big leap from any phone available at the time. But it didn't have any 3G network capability; it could only work on the EDGE (2G) network. Why didn't Apple call it the iPhone 2G then? The answer lay within the fact that the first iPhone was actually horrible at browsing the Internet. Most other phones at that time had 3G networking, so there was no way Apple could have advertised the fact that its phone was behind the current trend.

Then, on July 11, 2008, people lined up all over again for the iPhone 3G. This time around, Apple had managed to include 3G capabilities into its wildly successful phone, and the company named it accordingly. For the original iPhone buyers, this was a huge selling point to upgrade - so what better way to advertise than to name the phone with one of its features?

Less than a year later on June 19, 2009, the iPhone 3GS was released. Steve Jobs had been on a medical leave during the previous year, so the phone didn't turn out so well. It was just a minor specification bump. A small change of the internals couldn't warrant a big name change. So Apple just tacked on the letter S to the end of the iPhone 3G's name. Besides, the only improvement the iPhone 3GS had was speed.

Then, after a leaked phone got out, the iPhone 4 was released on June 24, 2010. Everything about the new iPhone 4 was changed. The design, the screen, the specifications were all new, so obviously Apple had to mark this big change with a big rename. They went from 3GS to 4. It was nice and simple now - what did you expect... iPhone 3GSX? The problem for Apple was that other manufacturers were starting to roll out 4G phones. Did the iPhone 4 have 4G networking? No.

But this year, manufacturers and carriers alike are really pushing 4G. Download a song in 4 seconds, browse the web as fast as at home, video chat; 4G is really the future. To remain competitive, Apple has to release a 4G iPhone. And what did we learn from the iPhone 3G? An upgrade in network speed means a name to reflect it... Therefore we come to the iPhone 4G.

Even if the tech giant decides not to go with 4G networking this year, there won't be an iPhone 5. Why? If the next iPhone doesn't have 4G browsing speeds, do you think they'll actually decrease the number in the name of the phone? Going from 5 to 4G would seem like moving backwards.

So after looking closely at history, and ahead to where the iPhone is going, there is only one logical name choice. The iPhone 4G. Sorry, but the iPhone 5 still has at least another year before it comes out.

Three Definite iPhone 5 Features Which Will Make It In 2011

Apple's Apple's everywhere but not an update in sight. The wait for an updated iPhone is one of the most anticipated technology trends in the world, and people quite literally plan their whole year around it. But I can see in to the future. And I can tell you three definite iPhone 5 features which are coming this 2011.
Enjoy! Oh and don't forget, if you too think that these features will make it, then spread the word!
An Upgraded Processor A5
The current iPhone 4 processor is called the A4 and is by all means a great chip (it is the same as featured in the iPad, Apple's take on a Tablet PC).
But if you take an A4 chip and put against Samsung's latest Hummingbird processor the A4 looks remarkably slow in comparison. The reason for this is the amount of cores it has, and so Apple must throw in a better chip-set to the iPhone 5 to compete with the latest generation of Smartphones from LG and Samsung respectively.
NFC Technology Integration
Apple have already been beaten to the punch on NFC Technology by the Google Nexus S, Google's pedigree Android smartphone. One thing Apple will definitely do is include iWallet technology into their iPhone 5 as to keep up with the latest payment solution trend.
One thing Apple always manage to do is re-market an existing technology and build on it. I suspect their take on NFC will be 'revolutionary'.
A revised notification system
Apple's iOS is behind other operating systems in notifications - in fact, if you use an Android handset, iOS is around 3 years behind with no live widget screen updates. One thing Apple will definitely do with the iPhone 5 is release an updated version to iOS, including a better notification system for messages, social networking and email.
There are a ton more iPhone 5 features one could list to this article, however the majority of them are mere speculations. These three listed are pretty much sure to make it into the iPhone 5.

Phone 5 is the latest phone from Apple and it is going to have some of the must have features included in it. iPhone 5 have come up after some problems that were seen in iPhone 4. There had been many iPhone 5 rumours before its release so let us gain an insight in to some of the expected features in all new release by Apple.
1. Built in IR: One of the main features that is expected to be in this all new iPhone 5 is that it must have a built in IR. This is because all time you do not like the dongle to be attached on phone every time you use it so it is expected to have some rather built in feature that allows you to have it switched on whenever the phone is turned on.
2. Biometric Security: What does this biometric security mean? It simply means that the phone should be able to know and learn your touch and unlock it just by feeling your touch on it. It is hard to type on the number each type you want to unlock your phone. Hence it gives you capability to simply swipe your fingers and get the phone unlocked.
3. HD output: iPhone 5 rumors also say that it is expected to have some kind of HD output. There are 50 % chances that this feature might be included in iPhone 5 as it will ease the users in getting things displayed in easy manner.
4. More memory capacity: This would be surely one of the feature that is having 75 5 chances to be given priority. Many people were disappointed when they saw that iPhone 4 did not supported 64 GB capacity. So now, it is expected that iPhone 5 will have good memory capacity.
5. Good Voice control: Surely, this is also going to one of the feature that is expected to be taken care of in iPhone 5. When the phone is being released so it is expected that there would be enhancement in it in comparison to older versions.
6. Better Home screen: one of the most differentiating features that any phone model has with others is their displaying capacity. It is expected that iPhone 5 would be having a better and change in home screen. It is assumed that the home screen would come along with dashboard.

The Ultimate Guide To Choosing iPhone 5 Cases

Users of the iPhone 4 might be more than a little disappointed to know that the iPhone 5 is already in production. There are rumors that the iPhone 5 could be released as early as the beginning of summer. Luckily, your iPhone 4 cases will likely be used as iPhone 5 cases as well. Though the iPhone 5 is reported to be thinner than the iPhone 4, the cases should still cling just as well as if they were specifically made as iPhone 5 cases.
A bumper case is basically a rubber band that wraps around the iPhone and protects the sides from dropping. The iPhone 4 put the antennae on the outside of the phone making it more necessary to be protected. The iPhone 5 is likely to do this as well and will need more protection.
A snap case will protect not only the sides of your iPhone 5 it will also protect the back from dropping. The front however will be exposed. The iPhone 4 is highly scratch resistant so it is only logical to assume the iPhone 5 will have the same resistance. However the iPhone 4 is a smudge magnet, so keep this in mind.
The Belkin Shield Micra case was created for the iPhone 4 and will fit similarly to the iPhone 5. It lacks in bulk and is light weight. The case is also highly resistant to various abuses that can be done against it by a user or life itself.
The Griffin Motif iPhone 5 cases are extremely durable, flexible and resists the scuffs that might diminish the good looks of other cases. The cases themselves are more solid than silicone but they are more flexible than polycarbonate cases. These are ideal iPhone 5 cases for someone who wants protection without something that could tear your pocket if you sat wrong.
The Speck Fitted iPhone 5 cases are sure to be a great addition to the accessory collection. The backing is fabric with two rubber sides. The edges and face of the case are soft allowing you to easily get the case in and out of your pocket.
Compared to the earlier versions of the phone, this one will feature some incredible, almost sci-fi, advancements that will really have you considering saving your upgrade until July. One of the first things to notice is the sleek body design. "The iPhone is a brick!" some people say, (especially when it's in the Otterbox!) The new iPhone5 will be slim and trim, compared to its older brothers. Another cosmetic touch is the scratch-proof, shatter-proof screen. Bye bye, Otterbox!

iPhone 5 Features and Limitations of iPhone Series

With faster internet, wider - big screen and with user friendly interface iPhone are attractive. It's just not a telephone now. Besides that it has several other functions. It can be used as a medium of entertainment with faster streaming in the 3G network. It can run several applications that can serve different purposes. It can be used as an e-book reader. It can be used for reading newspapers and many more applications are available. You can make free international calls with Skype on the phone; you can make video calls, which will enable you to make a conference call either with your staff or boss. All these are the possibilities put forward by an iPhone.
Apple is the manufacturers of the iPhone. The latest version is the iPhone4. iphone5 is going to be released soon. Besides iPhone, they manufacture laptops and accessories. They are one of the famous electronic component suppliers in the market.
While considering about the possibilities you should also think about the limitations of the phone as well. Some of the limitations are reasoned for the decrease in the popularity of the iPhone. After the version 2.0 iPhone started to integrate security for email in the Microsoft exchange. Furthermore, your contact list will be updated when you create a mail id in the outlook exchange.
iPhone was the first to introduce 3G and GPS in cell phones. They are released in their 2.0 version and attracted more customers. This made them to compete among other cell phone manufacturers in the market.
However, they lack a resource like MMS. MMS was not present until the version 2.0. Camera of iPhone has larger capabilities and moreover, that there is an internal memory of about 16 GB so that large amount of data can be stored. However, there was no video recording function until version 2.0. Furthermore, there were no video conferencing, no tune synchronizing, no java, no flash, no Bluetooth functioning, etc.
All these limitations were overcome in the later versions 3 and 4.0. Now iPhone 5 is going to be released soon. iPhone 5 will have 20 additional features when compared with iPhone 4. Some of them are known and some others are under curtains. They will not be revealed until it's released. Some of the iPhone 5 features are described below.
They will have better battery life. They are trying to add innovative new technologies to save more power and thereby extend the battery life. iPhone 5 will support 4G networks. It will enable the phone to have been greater speed in data communication. Furthermore, it will support AT&T. There are no confirmations of adding flash to the phone. Apple has not tied up with adobe, and hence we can conclude that there will not be flash in iPhone 5. However, we cannot say that they will not add flash in future releases.

iPhone 5 Needs Few, But Important Upgrades to Stay on Top

Even with the recent announcement of the Verizon iPhone, many people are still opting to wait for just a couple more months until the much anticipated release of the iPhone 5. Following the upgrades we saw in the iPhone 3G and iPhone 4′s releases, the iPhone 5 will undoubtedly be much faster, efficient and easier to use; but will that be enough to stay on top?
The HTC EVO 4G Android phone already includes many features that the iPhone 4 lacks and there haven't been any solid rumours or speculations surrounding their adoption of such things. The HTC phone includes the obvious 4G wireless technology and features such as the ability to output HD transmissions.
Other than a few unverified claims that Apple has filed for similar patents for the iPhone 5 (even that being assumed), there isn't much else to make us believe that they will be featured. There are a couple other things that Apple needs to include in the iPhone 5 for it to become a legitimate contender with the Android's heavyweight such as a more efficient battery, increased memory and a more practical security system (i.e. a biometric scan instead of a number-lock).
All this is not to say that the iPhone 5 won't be an incredible phone and that it won't "change everything. again" per se, but these are features that the iPhone 5 should definitely include for it to keep up with the ever increasing pace of the mobile (seems like a modest description as seeing what phones have become) industry.
